Overall i give it a 3.9 star rating out of 5Samsung series 3 has very nice elegant design, i really like the finish, what i like most about the notebook is the screen size (12.5) but the way the notebook was constructed is just like a size of 11.5 notebooks which is compact and great! Its so light and fast,cant complain with that.It has a good windows experience index of 4.7Second most thing i like is if you put it on sleep mode and flip the screen up to use it, it only takes 2 seconds to turn it back on.The screen is non gloss which has some advantage on bright lights! this is my 1st time having non gloss screen and so far its ok for me!It doesn’t heat up quickly like some notebooks do! and the fan is quiet!Now lets go for the cons.1.)Three is only 2 usb ports and i use usb port a lot, like dvd burner (which requires 2),laptop cooler, and hd webcam (i know i can buy usb hub, but i travel so i dont want any extra stuff).2.)LAN CONNECTOR- this is not the standard connector, its a clamp/hinge bottom to kinda lock the rj45 when you put it in. the problem is if it breaks there is no way to put the rj45 to the lan connector…3.)Wifi card- the intel wifi card (maybe the model inside) is not that great in terms of range. i only have 3 bars compared to my atheros that has 5 bars (2nd floor to basement),i love atheros and i get a pretty good signal using that card. i might replace the wifi card soon!overall i give it a 4 stars out of 5. bec. i don’t wana come back to 11.2 screen and love samsung’s sleek design!
