More Bed-rest, Reading, and Rumplestilskin

Not a lot happened today either… I am still recovering from being to active at the camp-out, so the sounds around the house to me seemed deafening. I mostly hung out in my room. I have lots of visitors, though, my siblings love hanging out in my room. Hoz and I watched some Bollywood videos and he hummed them for the rest of the day. I saw that one on Sarah’s status and then after that I had to youtube a bunch more, and now I am listening to my bollywood station on Pandora. Its a nice break from the normal type of music I listen to. I love variety… sometimes there is so much variety in this world its overwhelming. There are so many experiences I want to have, so many things I want to try!

I registered for the online archaeology class, I’ll be taking it for credit. I am excited. Also I ordered a new laptop, which I am planning on naming Dexterous Lucian, providing the fact that my laptop turns out to be male. I would imagine it would, though, since I have never owned a female one. Jasper will be moving on to a relaxing retirement.

I finished Fahrenheit 451 today, too. I was thinking about all the books I have read, if there was a way for me to have perfect recall of them. I’m glad that they are in there somewhere. Im so glad we still have the freedom to read and to think… Also I love Ray Bradbury’s style of writing. It makes me think, its a sad story, yet its so beautifully and powerfully written… simple, yet deep. My favorite kind.

Rumplestilskin is so USEFUL now!

I talked a lot to people, Ashley and I talked on the phone. Isn’t it funny how you miss people more right after you first see them? That’s when the pain of missing is especially potent, however after they have been gone long enough, you still miss them awfully, but you know it is getting closer and closer to seeing them again and you can look forward to it.

I have been doing a LOT of reading lately. I am getting very close to finishing.

I realized today that Rumplestilskin’s hands are perfectly positioned to hold my post it notes. I was staggered that it took me this long to realize. Now I can write myself memos and Rumpie is so nice, holding them aloft so I can be reminded easier.

My sister Lindsy has a goal to write a poem every night. Tonights poem is about me, she said I could share:

Tasha stays up sometimes late at night
Under her door peeps the light
Reads and texts and rests her head
Lying on her light blue bed
Her brain is damaged from her fall
She cannot work or run at all
When her head is fixed okay
She’ll get a job soon someday
Then she may buy a car at last
And we can have a real good blast

She wrote it after I told her no, I couldnt take her shopping because I had no car, because I had no job, because I had brain damage. Haha.

Also I forgot to mention that Ariel got me a key necklace that matches Ashleys and hers… Ashley’s says “wish,” Ariels says “happy,” and mine says “dream.” I wear it always now Thank you!!! I love you!
