Opinions:

Akali: Easier to use Q and R combo now without misclicking. Otherwise, no change.

Alistar: Although his AP ratios were lowered, he still has 2 CCs and a heal, so regardless, his gameplay shouldn’t change and he should still be very viable. His heal was never really used to heal up a lot anyways, but just to keep the passive up, so there isn’t much change there.

Ashe: Never really that good in the first place, but now she’s just less viable. Really, it shouldn’t matter if you are pro, but basically you can expect less, random cross map arrows early game, yet her late game is the same, which was her only strong point anyways.

Blitzcrank: No change

Brand: Good that the insta-kill bug was fixed

Ezreal: Still useless and not viable

Fiddlesticks: Same as Brand

Gangplank: Should be nerfed more, he recently became more viable and was moved basically from not being picked a lot to first pick/ban in competitive play.

Irelia: Got nerfed pretty hard a few patches ago and this nerf doesn’t change anything. She’s now more of an off-tank then the tanky DPS she was before.

Jarvan: A dumb nerf, his abilities were never intended for damage anyways.

Jax: You can use his leap on wards now

Katarina: You can use shunpo on wards now

Kog’Maw: I’m not sure if this is a buff or a nerf. He depends on his bio-arcane barrage, so that means he can be better in a team fight, but if he uses it during a false bait, then his team will need to back off until the cooldown comes back. His ultimate now falls faster though, but regardless still easy to dodge if you see him shooting it.

Lee Sin: He can jump to wards now

Malzahar: His ultimate now consistently lasts the right time, so no change.

Rumble: His flames are nerfed, which is good, since they were too powerful. He is still pretty OP anyways and he should probably just be given mana. That’s probably the only viable nerf, or a lower heat cap.

Ryze: Tiny buff, +10 damage at all levels for his Overload.

Swain: His ultimate has been changed, and he is now less sustainable in lane. He heals 75% on champion damage, but only 25% on minions, where it used to be 50% all round.

Warwick: Nerfed, his Lanewick is now weaker, as well as his jungle. Instead, they should have made it 100% heal when enemy champions weren’t around, because now his jungle has been affected.

Yorick: Increased the range of his AoE spell and decreased the mana cost, decreased mana cost of his life steal spell, and some fixes to his ultimate. He is now more tanky, because he gets 5% damage reduction for each ghoul that is up, and they are all more tanky too. He has also been given more health, mana, and armor per level as well as base movement speed and attack speed. I personally do not think this buff was worth it, Riot should just scrap him, or leave him nerfed like pantheon and all those other characters that were viable at one time, but not anymore.

Rabadon’s Death Cap: Base AP reduced to 140 from 155, which is not a big problem, it’s still a great AP caster item.

Teleporting and jumping to wards now reveals them for a few seconds. This really shouldn’t matter if you can correctly utilize this skill, and you will still be able to gank properly.

There are now minimap indicators for spells with a long range, like Nocturne’s ultimate and Ashe’s hawk shot. This is helpful, because you can just use the minimap versus accidentally clicking the skill when you just want to mouse over.

This patch was pretty effective with many things, and can affect tournament play drastically in certain areas.
