It can not be denied that Mackie has served me well. For two years, we’ve been through bad times and good times. We’ve been through every uploads, browse, AVP, tweets, music videos, IM’s and all sort of things. But I guess technology was designed so that man would want more.
Thus, I’m considering of replacing him.
Gawd, I can’t even look at him when I say those words. It’s like he has this puppy eyes and tears are slowly drifting away. It felt like betrayal at its finest. It seems like it’s the most horrible thing I’ve ever said. And I don’t even know what to say next.
But I’m not really the bad girl here. It’s just that the world spins too fast and a 13″ laptop that weighs 5.0 pounds isn’t really the most convenient thing to bring everywhere. I’m beginning to be the on-the-go kind of girl so I need something that is easy to carry even though I’m with a girly shoulder bag.
I’m sorry, Mackie! I hate to do this but certain circumstances suggest that I push through with the plan.
So anyway, on my list of choices are Windows netbooks and Macbook Air.
I’m still eyeing something from Apple but it’s just so expensive and the only thing that’s small in their laptop products is the 11″ Macbook Air but it costs something around 60k Php. I’m thinking of selling Mackie to my mother and save some from my salary to come up with the cash that I need to buy it.
But whenever I go window shopping, netbooks from Sony, HP, Acer and the likes are kind of tempting because they’re really small like a notebook and the colors are cute. The only thing that’s not impressive is the Windows OS. It’s been two years since I last used a Windows OS computer and I’m not sure if they’ve improved. People told me that Windows 7 is faster and it actually depends on the specs of your computer. Still, the interface of Windows is like meh. But of course, going back to where the internet addiction started will always be an option.
So, if you’re a concerned citizen maybe you could help me. What better choice should I make?

This is Apple’s lower-end laptop, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work like a charm. The MacBook now shares a significant amount of specs with the new 13 inch MacBook Pro. It comes with a 2.13 GHz Core 2 Duo processor and the Nvidia 9400M integrated graphics processor that you’ll find on the 13 inch MacBook Pro. Basically, both your gaming and media capabilities are essentially the same.
