Day 121: Almost Losing My Laptop

Dad nearly killed me.

I also had some dreams last night but they were so uninteresting I forgot them all.

I then woke up, had some food, and jammed around for a while before getting my shit together and going to pick up the parcel the post office had failed to deliver. I always want to say “the parcel Dency’s dad failed to deliver” but he doesn`t actually do that, and its probably mean if I blame anything the Post Office does on him. I took Silas and Tray with me, which ended up totally hectic; especially when I went crazy in the sales on the high road.

Once home, I spent most of the morning “preparing” for babysitting, and then set off roughly at the same time mum left. The journey there was the longest thing of my life, an hour and a half spent on three different buses counting stops because I`m unreliable that I wouldn`t remember to get off at the right one if I didn`t count.

Then once there, Tina left almost instantly so I jammed with Dylan. First of all I took him for a walk round the park which was nice and relaxing, then we worked on my homework all evening, and ate a little, then I put him to bed quite early but he fell right asleep and did not wake up till much later but it was all fine and dandy. I then did more homework, watched some QI, and Sami phoned around the same time as “I`m a Celebrity” so I didn`t bother watching it because it was shit anyway.

Eventually Tina came home around midnight, I then went straight home and had a lovely ride home with loads and loads of money in my pocket. Unfortunately; I then left my laptop in the taxi so phoned him back and then had to pay an extra £12 to get it back. In total I spent £30 of my £70 on a taxi, leaving just £40 left which means there is absolutely no way I can afford presents anymore and now I`m really sad about it. Because I need to chose whether I order Sami`s thing on the internet that has one in stock left and will not be able to buy Katie`s in time for the dinner party; or buy Katie`s and risk Sami`s selling out. Argh it sucks being so damn poor. The thing is I would be able to manage them both with £40 but then I need the train ride tomorrow, and the train ride when I go to get Katie`s, and lunch occasionally, and argh money stresses me out. Can`t I just have unlimited money for a day and I would buy everything I need for the rest of my life. House, a billion stocks, several fancy cars, presents for everyone, bare money to charity, Victorian dress, more chocolate and damnit I would be laughing. Then I wouldn`t need to work because my stocks would pay everything off and then if I got poor I could sell a fancy car and pay for baked beans and stuff. It would be so awesome.

The thing is, when I have no money in the world I`m so blissfully happy but as soon as you give me money its all ARGH I CAN’T COPE ANYMORE. Can`t I just knit everyone christmas presents? Hahahah. No but seriously. Never give me money unless its unlimited or less than £3, I can`t deal with it.

So anyway then once home and finally relaxed, dad and I watched 28 Weeks Later and just loled at it. It`s not a very good film but its scary and hard to explain because 28 Days Later was so brilliant the other in comparison wasn`t all that. We also devised the plot line for a possible 28 Years Later.

Then I went to bed because it was past 1am and I had to go out in the morning.

Apple’s MacBook Review:

This is Apple’s lower-end laptop, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work like a charm. The MacBook now shares a significant amount of specs with the new 13 inch MacBook Pro. It comes with a 2.13 GHz Core 2 Duo processor and the Nvidia 9400M integrated graphics processor that you’ll find on the 13 inch MacBook Pro. Basically, both your gaming and media capabilities are essentially the same.
