Computer Crash!!

It is amazing how much of our life is now centered around our electronic time-saving (?)  Toys . The perfect example is yesterday my laptop of two years went the way of the dreaded black screen. Now everybody knows that the immediate thought is panic, which is followed by  fear and then reality about now what am I going to do? I mean my whole life is in this time-saving device and when it works the world is good, but if it fails life as we know it stops.

Well, once the reality sets in its time to take it back to the place where I purchased it, which is Best Buy. Now this is the second time for a repair on this two-year old HP Laptop with the last being one hundred and ninety-nine for a new hard drive and something else I can’t remember.

 This time they think it’s the motor  and for over three hundred dollars they can fix it but I can’t find the receipt, they can’t find it on their computer so as far as the warranty goes it’s back to the house to try to find the receipt.

I t seems that I misplaced the receipt and now I am working on my wife’s computer because  in todays world who can afford anything, so it seems that for now the laptop will be a dust collector or maybe even a paper weight?

That’s all I’m going to say……..
