Apple’s New 15 Inch MacBook Pro Review

The MacBook Pro has undergone a bit of redesign now with the 15 inch MacBook Pro.  It added a edge-to-edge LED-backlit display with a multi-touch touchpad and a great dual graphics card for brilliant screen sights.  There are slew of changes including a SD card reader and a battery than can lasts up to 8 hours!  The same complaint lingers around with the low number of USB ports, but we can’t all be perfect, can we?

It’s design measures 14.4 x 9.8 x 1.0 inches and weighs 5.4 pounds.  It works perfectly for longer sessions on your laptop and won’t be a brick in your backpack when it’s time to get up and move.  It has kept the same sturdy aluminum chassis and rounded edge, just like its older model MacBook Pros.

The keyboard and touchpad are similar to other MacBook Pros with a shallower keyboard that carry black keys.  Black keys are always great for hiding the messy finger residue that seems to find a way to display itself on the older chrome keys.  The light sensor for backlighting the keys provides a nice warm glow for perfect clarity.  You won’t have to search for more than a second for that semi colon key.

The touch pad is large and helps make navigating your OS simple and easy.  The multi-touch features a second-to-none with similar features to the iPhone and iPod touch.  You can swipe and pinch and zoom with easy.  There is no dedicated mouse button, as the entire pad will work as one.

The display is a 15.4 inch glass LED display with 1440 x 900 pixel resolution.  The panel will offer over 50% more colors than the older models and makes watching HD movies on iTunes awesome.  As far as the speakers go, well, nobody’s perfect.  We recommend purchasing a pair of external speakers for sessions at your desk and a nice set of headphones for the times you’re away.

Overall, this a great work-horse of a laptop.  Perfect for nearly anything you throw at it.  The new 15 inch MacBook Pro is an excellent purchase for the novice to expert.

Laptop Review: HP Pavilion HDX Review:

This is nice laptop, no question.  At 15.5 pounds, it’s one of the those heavier laptops that fits comfortably on desk more than your lap.  What comes with the weight, but more screen… a 20 inch LCD screen to be exact.  The base price starts at roughly $3,000.00, but you can get this amazing laptop, [...]
