Photo 8

Yesterday I was finally presented with my orenji-iro belt in jujitsu after grading some weeks ago.  What a power trip!  I’m very proud of myself for my accomplishments in jujitsu.

So.  In interest of going into the past while Mercury is in retrograde, I opened my old Mac laptop yesterday.  When I say old Mac laptop, I’m talking the thing is upwards to 10-15 years old.  It got most of its use when I was in grade 8, and would cart it to film class every day.  It can’t do much anymore except store things, so now it’s mostly my mp3 graveyard where I go to extract music that used to be on my first ipod (first gen ipod mini).

Well yesterday when I was going in search of music from Kozi, who I had forgotten that I loved, I noticed, “Hey this old mac still has iMovie on it”.  Curious.  The hard drive on it is so full it wouldn’t run the program, but I managed to hack it out of the system and lo!  it now runs perfectly smoothly on this Mac which I currently use.  All this adds up to MY SECRET PROJECT IS SAVED BY AN ACCIDENTAL STROKE OF GENIUS!!  Last night I hit the ground running with it, and three hours later all that is left to do is edit some sound into the finished film.  So Chris from Jaycee Skate Park, if you’ve been watching with fading hope, fear not!  I will yet make you a star!!
