Students Can Receive A Free Laptop

Monday, July 27th, 2009

It’s called the Get Ready for Success Program at the University of Michigan at Flint and they are offering free laptops for college students.  This program is geared toward helping students up their game with the often stressful world of advanced academics.

The director, Mike Kassel, is optimistic about the workshops and the free laptops.  He believes that the new workshops are a culmination of many of years of work, and learning from the deficiencies of past workshops.  This is a major undertaking that brings together many of the programs from the past, all in one workshop and incentivizing attendance with free laptops for college students.

The workshops are two days on note taking, studying for math, stress management and science study skills.  Of course that doesn’t really bring ‘em in.  You have to offer a free laptop.

If students attend any five of the many workshops that are offered, they can enter into a drawing for new, ruby-red, free Dell laptop courtesy of the Vice Chancellor.  This is a great way for college students to get a free laptop!
