1. No Power. Check the cables if it is properly connected with your AVR, UPS and most specially with the main outlet. If properly connected, check if it is not blackout in your area. Also, check the CPU power supply fan if it is properly working. If it is properly connected, no blackout and the fan is not functioning, then your power supply is busted. If fan is functioning, make sure that the monitor is turned on.
2. No Display. Check if monitor was already turned on and the CPU. It can be attributed to bad video card, CPU, motherboard or a damage monitor. If monitor displays its settings, then it might be that problem lies inside your CPU. If no display comes out with monitor, you can adjust the brightness and contrast settings if it will work but if not your monitor might be damaged. If you have other PC or laptop, you can try plugging the video data cable of your monitor to other PC’s video card.
3. Two short beeps heard after turning on the PC with no display. Problem is on the Video card.
4. One long beep heard continuously. The memory or RAM of your PC has a problem.
5. Invalid Media or Disk Error. Problem is on your hard drive.
6. The computer continuously restarts. Might be a software or hardware problem.
7. The computer hangs up after booting. Might be a software, hardware or a virus problem.
