I mentioned already that I make a few pennies a day from articles published at Associated Content and Helium. Okay, so why do I only make $0.02 a day on Helium from 10 articles? Some of them do not get page views. Those are the ones on Japanese and other geeky stuff no one gives a you-know-what about. So what do people wanna read?
Apparently, it’s college study tips. That said, it helps that the title I wrote to is the second down on that content area’s list of titles, and my article rates number 2 out of 13 that people have written. My article was easy to write as it was based on a) my own experiences and b) me as an education major who just spent a class period last week helping a high school sophomore figure out how to tackle a DBQ essay. So it’s something that just spilled out on the page, so to speak.
Wanna read the article? I’d love to know what you think! Here it is: http://www.helium.com/items/1423866-writing-last-minute-papers.
Maybe later I’ll write about what I think of the rating system, because I wonder how effective it is. Have a lovely day.
